I began my formal bodywork education in 2009, starting out in massage therapy but quickly delving into the corrective exercise side of personal training and yoga. My passionate journey into the world of helping others stemmed from pain that began over a decade ago.

I earned not one but two Associates of Applied Science Degrees in Clinical Massage Therapy and Sports and Exercise Science by 2012 at Saint Paul College.

In 2011, I founded Shift Fitness & Massage, a haven of healing and rehabilitation “for the rest of us” that were not typical gym user but deserved the most up to date education and top results.

My experience as a desk worker for over 20 years still fuels my desire to help others and prevent serious overuse injuries before they worsen. That’s why I am so passionate about posture and daily habits to prevent dysfunction down the road.

Advanced studies for Chiropractors in A

This led my journey of learning to the American Posture Institute (API), founded by chiropractors Dr. Krista Burns and Dr. Mark Wade. What began with the Certified Ergonomic Specialist led to Posture Specialist, Pediatric Posture, Posture Specialist, Neurological Posture, and now Master Posture Practitioner.

Throughout the years I still continue to do online and in person and Certifications with NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and ACE (American Council of Exercises) and Yoga Fit as well as Yoga U online. I have 30+ certifications including orthopedic exercise, senior fitness and Health Coaching.

From that learning background and experience, I created repeatable results. Looking at the body in all-dimensional movement patterns, assessing and correcting on the table while engaging the client, I was able to achieve better and faster results.

Shifting People out of Pain and Shifting the mind from hopeless to hopeful has resulted in countless transformations with my clients.

The Shift 3D Method™ breaks the pain cycle faster by blending advanced massage therapy techniques with therapeutic yoga, bodyweight training, and even a dash of dance, creating a unique and effective method that clients love. Most importantly, I have found that combining these methods provides the fastest, most effective, and lasting RESULTS!

Did you that your posture can affect you health? The spine was formed before we were born so things like scoliosis and hyperkyphosis can be genetic, which is structural or functional is something that is more in our control.

Here is a short video about posture but also how we can take back control with the Shift 3D Method.

The posture system is involved when we sit, stand, move and sleep. Muscle imbalances, accidents, emotional trauma, and lifestyle can all be a consideration to find not “Proper Posture” but a “Posture that is Proper for YOU!” at this stage of your life.

Posture changes can affect you so you can move better, feel better, look better, ultimately, do better at life ultimately.

As I look back at my life, the 20’s where filled with low back pain, the 30’s numbness & tingling and diagnoses. What no one really took a good hard look at was how I moved and how that lack of movement was causing tightness, pain and so much more. These memories lead me to wanting to take move of my clients off the table and into proper alignment of the spine and joints. This is why Certification as Posture Expert with American Posture Institute was completed in 2020. This still incorporates orthopedic work while strengthening the spine and keeping it strong to support our foundational system.

Many of my clients (like myself years ago) have postural issues and if avoided can cause numbness, tingling, neuropathy and so much more. This is also a fantastic way to work with people with scoliosis. From youth to seniors.Helping people avoid issues of scoliosis, sitting disease, nerve impingement can be done by also looking at the workplace.
