My Power Thought card for today was this. If shifts me back to when I first heard of Power Thought Cards. I picked this card out of 64 cards and it was indicated that whatever card I chose could very well be what I needed the most that day. I found this to be true.
I was at a Yoga Fit Conference and in the second day of training for Yoga Lean I and Yoga Lean 2. When we practiced our “yoga for larger bodies” series, this was the card I put on my Yoga Mat. As we would go into our Downward Facing Dog my eyes would shift to those words. Coming into an Upward Dog I would find myself integrating them into my practice.
Yoga shifted for me during that conference. It infused mind, body and spirit in a practice that I already had but took it a step further. It brought into a more positive mindset as well an acceptance of my personal training integration into yoga.
Shift Fitness, Massage and Yoga integrated yet another shift in its yoga movement. I try to always integrate Power Thought Cards in our Yoga Classes each day.
Positive motivation is important in wellness coaching and putting our feet one step in front of the other in our goals. Positive thoughts can become positive actions turning dreams into goals and then into reality. Shift has always been about Supporting goals both inside the studios as well as outside of them and this is just an extension of that process.
The back of this card is not to be overlooked in importance either. “I am not limited by any past thinking. I choose my thoughts with care. I constantly have new insights and new ways of looking at my world. I am willing to change and grow”. Louise L Hay.
As I am writing up a Weight Loss 8 week Program with Yoga I think that this is an important step to integrate into education and moving forward to personal growth.
